The NorthEast Softball Message Board has been up for just over a year now and has shown tremendous growth in that time. The front page you see before you represents a new internet face for the premier softball resource in the NorthEastern United States. We plan on covering any and all topics related to softball players from our area. Everything from local league play to major national tournaments are up for discussion as well as the local players thoughts on equipment, rules, teams, and off season training methods.

We have a buy/sell board that combines the benefits of a national board with the intimacy of a local board. A national board is going to be very comprehensive in terms of the amount of equipment available as well as the amount of buyers looking to possibly buy your used equipment. The problem is, we don't always feel comfortable buying from somebody who lives thousands of miles away. If you buy or sell equipment on this forum, chances are the you live close enough to the other party to meet up with them halfway or you might even see them at the ballfield!

We have individual state forums where you can discuss local issues regarding leagues or small charity tournaments. Lots of state forums have that benefit but what they don't have is a common area where players from the entire region can get together to talk about common interests. Players cross state lines every weekend to play tournaments. Why should we confine our discussions to one state at a time?
